OK, so I'm a little older now (about 40 years older!) but no wiser.  I grew up in southwestern Minnesota with a love for the outdoors and animals.  My love for animals came naturally from my dad.  I've never known a horse whisperer, but he was as close as can be.

I joined the Army directly after high school and spent twenty years traveling all over the world.  One of the main lessons I learned was that people have a lot more in common than we admit.

I only became serious about my photography over the last few years.  I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.  You will notice not too many pictures of people.  I have found that rarely does a bear come back and say, "Hey, you made me look fat!!"  Just kidding, sort of.  Scenery and wildlife, especially birds, have become my fascination.

On this site you will see pictures from national parks and wildlife reserves.  Please act and vote in a way that will preserve these treasures for ages to come.  A portion of all profits goes to the Nature Conservancy which helps protect wildlife and wilderness areas.

I live in northern Utah with my wife and daughter, three cats and a dog.  Life is to be enjoyed and right now, life is good.
